Keys Cross Country teams ran at Muldrow today. The Keys girls were the 3rd place team. Aliviah Stricker was 14th, Hunter Shelley was 20th, Lyla Harkreader was 29th and Wakia James was 30th.
The boys won 4th place team
And Tristan won 1st place in his race!!
Several kids ran their personal bests today. Carson Brownell, Max Kinney, Liam Warren, Jaxtin Cook, Greyson Spencer, Jakob Adams, Takwaki James, Leann Davey, Brinley Smith, Brayden Thompson, and Jerome Simmons.
We are so proud of them all!

The Keys Public School's Board of Education will hold a Special Board Meeting on Thursday, September 24, at 6:00 p.m.
Community members are invited to attend, share ideas, and help shape the future of Keys Public Schools. The Board will seek public input on three important topics:
🔴 Keys Foundation
The potential creation of a foundation to support our schools, including its mission, organization, fundraising priorities, and opportunities for community involvement.
⚫ Facility Planning and Bond Evaluation
Current and future facility needs, including repairs, renovations, safety improvements, transportation, athletic facilities, instructional spaces, and other capital improvements.
⚪ Long-Range Strategic Plan
The District’s future mission, vision, goals, instructional priorities, student services, staffing, communication, and community engagement.
This meeting is intended to give our parents, staff, students, alumni, and community members an opportunity to share their perspectives and priorities. No action will be taken on these items during the meeting.

FCCLA would like to give a huge thank you to our community & school. You showed up, gave of your time & energy, & helped us EXCEED our goals!!! 26 generous individuals came, 21 were successfully able to donate blood (some double portions), resulting in the ability to potentially save over 70 lives. We truly have heroes among us! Pictured here, are some of these heroes...
Last Thursday, Keys HS FCCLA was represented well by 6 of its members. Chaestin Butler, Anthony Roark, Tayla Conn, Ali Haddock, Kenna Kaplanis, & Abigail Duncan attended LEAD Conference in Glenpool with other FCCLA leaders from northeast Oklahoma. They networked with students from other schools, received training from state & district officers, & learned how to better serve their community. We are so grateful for these opportunities for growth!
We are so proud of our Cougar Cheer Squad! They did a fantastic job at Regional Cheer Competition and missed going to state by less than 3 points. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication to their sport and the positive contribution they make to our school spirit. We are so very proud of our cheerleaders!

Keys FFA hosted a cattle grading contest at the Rockin P Arena on Wednesday. There were 1,300 competitors in attendance. Emily Scott- won 4th high individual and Braxton Fritts won 2nd high individual. Millie, Addix, Brantley, Clayton were the 5th place team. Congratulations to all those who competed! Many thanks to Darrel and Samantha Hood and Kash Allen for putting on this huge event!
