Kale Matthews and Summit Deem were chosen to perform in front of 400 students at the Speech and Debate East Demo Day held at Union High School. We are proud of you!

No student is allowed to leave without a parent or guardian's permission and the student must be signed out of the office. Keys High School and Elementary are closed campuses; therefore, students are required to eat at school or bring their lunch, unless the student’s parent or authorized person physically comes into the school office to sign the student out.
At the high school, lunch times are 11:30 AM to 12:25 PM and the student must be signed out in person by a parent/legal guardian or a person designated by the parent/legal guardian. If a student is leaving for the day, no sign-out is required.
No call-ins are allowed during the lunch period. Parents, please check your child out only when an emergency warrants.
We have been able to schedule a second Jr High football game with Locust Grove on 9/22 at 5:30 at Locust. This will make up for the game we lost with Roland
The Jr High football game against Roland that was scheduled for 9/21 has been canceled

Boys and Girls Club/21st Century dates to remember!

The cross country team battled the heat today in Inola. Four boys finished in the top twenty and two of those boys earned medals. Tristan Scott placed 4th in the Varsity division. In the JV division, Max Kinney placed 8th, Kingston Bonham placed 19th, and Fletcher Madison placed 20th. Varsity and Junior Varsity boys teams finished in 3rd place.
Students will run again on Friday at Camp Gruber!

October 2nd is Homecoming for the Cougars! Would you like to be a part of the parade? Parade entry forms must be turned in to Shauna Jones at Keys High School no later than 9/25/26 (Late entries will not be accepted). The parade lineup will be at 1:00 PM on October 2nd at KHS. The responsible party will be contacted with their parade number by 9/30/2026. The fee for non-school groups is $20 and checks must be made to Keys Public Schools. The Homecoming Theme this year is “Blast from the Past”. All entries must be approved. Congratulations to our 4-H and FFA Cattle Grading Competitors!
50 students from Keys School competed in a cattle grading competition in Tahlequah today.
We had two 4-H teams place today. The first 4-H team won 3rd place the team members were Logan Buford, Elias Hamby, Stetson Tebow and Tyler Kirk. The other 4-H team won 6th place. The team consisted of Emily Scott, Izzy Girdner, Eris Womack and McKenzie Hix. Individual awards went to Logan Buford for 1st place and Emily Scott for 4th place.
In the FFA division individuals awards went to Madalyn Smith who won 1st place and Braxton’s Fritts who won 3rd place.

Sequoyah softball make up game will be Wednesday, September 9th at 1 pm at their place.
