Position Overview
The Elementary / Middle School Principal serves approximately 500+ students in grades PreK3 through 8th Grade and plays a critical role in fostering academic growth, positive school culture, and continuous improvement across all grade levels.
Keys Public Schools is in the beginning stages of implementing a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). The successful candidate will be expected to lead the development, implementation, and sustainability of MTSS practices to ensure strong academic and behavioral supports for all students. The principal will work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, families, and district leadership to build effective systems that promote student success. The Principal reports directly to the Superintendent and supervises all personnel assigned to the school site.

Cherokee Nation Behavioral Health and Dartmouth College are conducting a research project to help
design a digital version of Connect Kits for Family Action, a family program to help prevent drug use and
promote wellbeing. Youth ages 14–16 and caregivers can participate in a 45–60 minute Zoom session
and receive $50 per activity.
