Misty brings over 21 years of experience in education and a deep passion for servant leadership. She holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and has been recognized as a District Teacher of the Year for her commitment to excellence.
Known by her colleagues as someone who is both driven and dedicated, Misty is often described as the first to step up and the last to leave. Her focus is simple but powerful—supporting the growth and success of both students and staff.

Coach Brown has made a tremendous impact during his time at Keys, serving the past two years as Assistant Principal while also leading our football program as Head Coach. His commitment to students, staff, and the entire Keys community has been evident in everything he does.
In this new role, he will continue to serve as Head Football Coach while taking on the responsibilities of Athletic Director—providing strong leadership and vision for all of Keys athletics.

Welcome to the Cougar team, Kevin Wade! 🍎
Keys Public Schools is thrilled to announce that Kevin Wade will be joining our district as the new PreK-8 Principal. Kevin is a veteran educator with over 35 years of experience serving as a building principal, school counselor, and teacher. He joins us most recently from Baxter Springs, Kansas, where he served as an elementary principal. Kevin is a familiar leader in the region, having spent over two decades as a principal in Commerce, Oklahoma. During his tenure there, he was honored by his peers as the Principal of the Year for District 6A by the Oklahoma Association of Elementary School Principals.
A few highlights about our new principal:
Experienced Leadership: Kevin has a proven track record of fostering positive school cultures and successfully implementing student support systems like MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports).
Student-Centered Philosophy: His approach is rooted in the belief that meaningful relationships are the foundation of a successful school.
Local Roots: He is a proud alumnus of Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Education and his Master’s degree in School Counseling.

🎤 Special Presentation: Led by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Computer Forensic Analyst, Anthony Meter, based in Tulsa, OK, bringing real-world expertise on online risks and student safety.
