🚨 Public Service Announcement from Keys Elementary School 🚨
Parents, guardians, and fellow Keys drivers: Great news for safer roads! The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office has shared with Keys Public Schools that Oklahoma's HB 2263 has officially passed and been signed into law. This important bill cracks down on distracted driving by prohibiting the use of cell phones (including texting, calling, or any handheld device) while operating a vehicle in active school zones.
Why does this matter? It protects our kids, workers, and everyone on the road from preventable accidents—especially right here in Cherokee County, where the Sheriff's Office has announced they will be actively enforcing this new law starting Nov. 1st, and that "Carline" is considered a school zone.

Cougars win on the road at Colcord to run their District Record to 2-0!

Cougar Softball wins two games to advance to Regional Finals against Kiefer... The Cougars defeated Commerce 4-3 in Extra Innings, lost a tight game to Kiefer 2-0 and then defeated Commerce again 10-7 to make Friday's final.
