KHS would like to thank the American Heart Association and KHS Student Council for their work in the "One Week to Save a Life" program.
The One Week To Save A Life program supporting The American Heart Association has come to a close and we are grateful for your support! Last week Keys HS students were encouraged to scan a QR Code and watch short videos around CPR, Vaping and Stroke Education. After viewing the videos, students could forward them via text to friends and family sharing our heart-healthy messages creating a safer community.
A heartfelt thank you to our Keys High School students for your involvement in any way you were able.
96 STUDENTS registered
56 STUDENTS learned Hands-Only CPR
1 8 STUDENTS learned the Dangers of Vaping
1 8 STUDENTS learned the Warning Signs of a Stroke
28 STUDENTS shared our heart healthy messages with others
One Week To Save A Life is bringing healthy habits and lifesaving skills into your community, and we couldn’t have done it without you! Thank you, Shauna Jones & the Student Council Students for being a part of our mission to build healthier hearts, big and small.

Celebrating Our School Board Leaders This January
January is School Board Recognition Month, a time to honor Oklahoma’s more than 2,500
elected school board members for their commitment to public education. These dedicated
individuals work tirelessly to ensure every student has access to the best learning
opportunities possible.
The Keys School District proudly recognizes its five school board members:
Dexter Scott – President, Beth Brandt – Vice President, Bobby Musgrove Jr. – Clerk, Rick
Patrick – Assistant Clerk, and Philip Manes – Member.
“Our school board members not only give their time but also share their vision and voice to
shape the future of public education in Oklahoma,” said Superintendent Vol Woods. “We
are deeply grateful for their service and proud of the dedication they show in making our
district the very best it can be.”
In Keys, board members make critical decisions on educational and community issues,
guide policy, and oversee an annual budget of $9 million supporting 815 students, 100
employees, and two school sites. Their leadership ensures that the needs of students
remain at the heart of every decision.
“As we celebrate School Board Recognition Month,” Woods added, “we invite our
community to join us in thanking our local board of education for their outstanding service
and steadfast commitment to Keys Public Schools.”
